Before you install
- When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
- An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.
Download FAQs
What does the Premium Unlocked build change in CallApp Contacts?
This build is labeled Premium Unlocked. The modification is identified by that label, while the app's listed functions include caller ID, spam blocking, SMS management, and call recording.
How does CallApp Contacts identify unknown callers?
CallApp Contacts looks up phone numbers through a database of more than seven billion numbers. This can help you identify an unfamiliar caller before deciding whether to block the number.
Can CallApp Contacts manage text messages?
Yes. You can set CallApp Contacts as the default SMS app to send and receive text messages and manage incoming texts in one place. Its filtering tools can automatically filter and delete spam messages using options you customize.
How does call recording work in CallApp Contacts?
The app can automatically record incoming calls for later reference. You can also select contacts for recording with one touch and delete recordings you no longer need.
What Android version does CallApp Contacts require?
CallApp Contacts requires Android 8.0 or later as its stated minimum requirement. When installing an APK outside Google Play, Android may ask you to choose whether to allow installs from that source.
Nothing happens when I tap download
Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.
Android says "App not installed"
Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
