Before you install

  1. When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
  2. An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.

Download FAQs

What does the Premium Unlocked build change in Map & Draw Make your own maps?

This file is labeled Premium Unlocked. The label identifies the modification attached to this build, while the app continues to provide its map drawing, route planning, boundary sketching, and GPS tools.

Can I save a map and continue working on it later?

Yes. Version 4.4.4 adds an in-app map save feature so you can pick up where you left off. The release also includes a fix for a map-saving issue on Android 13.

What can I draw or mark on a map?

You can use freehand drawing to draw on the map, highlight areas, and add notes to important locations. The app also includes boundary sketching for outlining areas and visual route planning for trips.

Does Map & Draw Make your own maps include location and route tools?

Yes. It includes live location tracking, My Location, and outdoor route mapping. Drawn lines can become more accurate when you are moving along a road with GPS available.

What Android version is required for Map & Draw Make your own maps?

Android 7.0 or later is the minimum requirement for this build. The file size is 17.6 MB, and Android may ask you to allow installation from this source before the app can be installed.

Nothing happens when I tap download

Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.

Android says "App not installed"

Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
