A tab with an advert may open when you tap download. Close it and come back here to carry on — those clicks are what keep PlayMods free.

Before you install

  1. When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
  2. An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.

Download FAQs

What changes in the MiChat build labeled no mod?

This build is labeled no mod, so it is presented as the standard MiChat build. Its stated functions include messaging, calls, chatrooms, media sharing, people search, and QR profile sharing.

Can I join chatrooms in MiChat?

Yes. MiChat includes public chatrooms where you can join conversations with strangers from around the world. You can search for chatrooms based on your interests and share comments, images, videos, audio, emojis, and other content there.

What can I share in MiChat conversations?

MiChat supports sharing images, videos, audio, locations, stickers, and other content. You can send these items in private chats, groups, and chatrooms.

How do MiChat QR profiles work?

MiChat gives your profile a QR code that you can share with another person. After scanning it, that person can open your profile, follow you, and interact with you through the app.

What Android version does MiChat require?

MiChat requires Android 4.1 or later as its minimum Android version. The listed file size is 39.7 MB, so make sure your device has enough available storage for the download and installation.

Nothing happens when I tap download

Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.

Android says "App not installed"

Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
