Before you install
- When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
- An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.
Download FAQs
What does the Premium Unlocked build change in MobileScanner?
This build is labeled Premium Unlocked. No individual changed tool or access condition is identified under that label. The build is listed as version 2.17.0.
What can I scan with MobileScanner?
MobileScanner can scan documents and other content using your phone camera. Contracts and receipts are listed as examples. You point the camera at the material you need to capture.
Can MobileScanner scan several documents together?
Yes, MobileScanner includes batch scanning. It lets you scan multiple documents in the same session. This is useful when you need to process more than one paper record.
How does MobileScanner improve a scan after capture?
MobileScanner can detect borders automatically and crop or edit the scan into a neater result. Its editing tools can remove stains, folds, and other imperfections. You can also adjust color, size, and font on your phone.
What Android version is required, and what happens during installation?
MobileScanner requires Android 9.0 or later as a minimum requirement. The file is listed at 64.9 MB. When you open a downloaded file, Android uses its default installer and may show a protection warning for installs from outside Google Play; allowing that source is your choice.
Nothing happens when I tap download
Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.
Android says "App not installed"
Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
