Before you install
- When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
- An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.
Download FAQs
What does the Premium Unlocked build change in NetShare?
This file is labelled Premium Unlocked. The label identifies the modification attached to this build. NetShare continues to focus on creating a no-root hotspot for sharing mobile data or extending a Wi-Fi connection.
Can NetShare share both mobile data and Wi-Fi?
Yes. NetShare can share your phone's mobile data connection with other devices. It can also expand an existing Wi-Fi connection through its hotspot.
Does NetShare require root access to create a hotspot?
No. NetShare is intended to create a personal Wi-Fi hotspot without rooting the phone. You can use the hotspot to connect multiple other devices.
What changed in this release of NetShare?
This release fixes pppd and ssts connection scripts for Windows and Mac OS. It also disables Picture-in-Picture by default and upgrades the target Android version.
What Android version does NetShare require?
NetShare requires Android 8.0 or later as a minimum requirement. Android may ask you to allow installation from this source when you open the downloaded file, and that choice remains yours.
Nothing happens when I tap download
Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.
Android says "App not installed"
Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
