A tab with an advert may open when you tap download. Close it and come back here to carry on — those clicks are what keep PlayMods free.

Before you install

  1. When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
  2. An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.

Download FAQs

What does the Full Version label change in this build of Rotation Control?

This build carries the Full Version label. The label is kept separate from Rotation Control's normal per-app settings, device-wide orientation controls, notification-bar controls, and automation events.

Can Rotation Control use a different orientation for each app?

Yes. You can apply a rotation mode individually to selected apps and set different configuration mechanisms for each one. Per-app settings can include screen style, rotation mode, and other displayed details.

What happens when I close an app with a per-app rotation rule?

The selected app's rotation mode applies while that app is open. When you exit it and return to the home screen, the device returns to its previous orientation mode.

Can Rotation Control change orientation when I connect a charger or headset?

Yes. The app can adjust home-screen orientation when a charger or headset is connected or disconnected. It can also be activated from the notification bar for direct orientation selection.

What Android version does Rotation Control require?

Rotation Control requires Android 10 or later as its minimum Android version. The file size for this build is 5.7 MB.

Nothing happens when I tap download

Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.

Android says "App not installed"

Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
