A tab with an advert may open when you tap download. Close it and come back here to carry on — those clicks are what keep PlayMods free.

Before you install

  1. When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
  2. An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.

Download FAQs

What does the Premium Unlocked build change in Speak and Translate Languages?

This build is labelled Premium Unlocked. The stated product functions remain photo translation, voice translation, text translation, and support for multiple languages.

Can Speak and Translate Languages translate text from a photo?

Yes. It can recognise text in different images and translate the recognised content. This can help you read information around you in a language you do not know.

Can I use Speak and Translate Languages for spoken conversations?

Yes. The app includes voice translation alongside text translation. You select the appropriate mode, communicate normally, and the spoken information is recognised and converted into another language.

Is the app useful for reading restaurant menus while travelling?

Its camera recognition can be used to translate written information, including food menus. The photo translation feature is also intended for signs and other printed text encountered in new places.

What Android version does Speak and Translate Languages require?

Speak and Translate Languages requires Android 8.0 or later as a minimum requirement. When installing a file from outside Google Play, Android may ask whether you want to allow installs from that source; that choice remains yours.

Nothing happens when I tap download

Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.

Android says "App not installed"

Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
