A tab with an advert may open when you tap download. Close it and come back here to carry on — those clicks are what keep PlayMods free.
Before you install
- When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
- An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.
Download FAQs
What does the no mod label change in this build of YouTube Premium?
The build is labeled no mod. No separate modification or changed feature set is identified, so it remains focused on the YouTube Premium functions described for supported content.
Can YouTube Premium play videos while I use another app?
Supported videos can continue playing in the background while you use other apps. This is useful for music, podcasts, interviews, and other content you mainly want to hear.
Can I download videos for offline viewing?
You can download supported videos before you lose your connection. Downloaded content can be watched without an active internet connection, subject to YouTube's offline viewing rules and requirements.
How does YouTube Premium choose recommendations?
Recommendations use your viewing activity and other signals. The videos, channels, and topics suggested to you can therefore reflect the content you watch.
What Android version is required for YouTube Premium?
YouTube Premium requires Android 9.0 or later. Check your device's Android version before installation.
Nothing happens when I tap download
Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.
Android says "App not installed"
Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
