Game guides & genre round-ups
The PlayMods Editorial Team writes the game guides on the PlayMods blog: genre round-ups built from the PlayMods catalog, and practical notes on the things players run into — moving progress to a new phone, playing with a controller, and the account risks of mod menus in online games. The team also keeps the game and app listings on PlayMods current. Version, file size, package name and Android requirement on each listing come from the installable file and are cross-checked against the app's Google Play listing.
Round-ups only include games that are live on PlayMods, and each entry describes what the game is and what its build is labeled to change — not test results. We do not install every build on test devices, so a feature can behave differently from its label, especially after the original game updates. For online games we say plainly that cheats and mod menus can be detected by the developer's servers. If a guide no longer matches what you see, or a listing is out of date, use the Request Update button on that app's page or reach us through the contact page.
