A tab with an advert may open when you tap download. Close it and come back here to carry on — those clicks are what keep PlayMods free.

Before you install

  1. When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
  2. An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.

Download FAQs

You can plan and build facilities, roads, and surrounding scenery. The city can be designed around your own style and preferences. You also unlock landscapes and architectural works for further development and decoration.

How do citizens work in Happy Citizens?

You recruit citizens and set requirements and regulations for the city. Qualified citizens can live and work there. Artists and businessmen are available choices when you want to pursue a city focused on fame and luxury.

What is included in the current event?

The update adds a limited-time themed event. It lets you build a sports venue intended to encourage citizens to get moving. The event includes rewards, while its availability depends on the current update period.

What Android version does Happy Citizens require?

Nothing happens when I tap download

Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.

Android says "App not installed"

Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
