Before you install
- When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
- An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.

This build is labeled Unlocked Items, No ADS. It offers unlocked items and removes ads. The word challenges, rising water, rewards, hints, and Pirate Attack Mode remain part of the game.
How do longer answers help in Text or Die?
You need to type meaningful words while water rises toward you. Longer meaningful answers create a safer distance from the water. This makes word length important during each round.
What are Bonus Word Levels?
Bonus Word Levels add extra challenges to the usual word gameplay. They also bring different rewards. They give you another setting to show your word skills.
How do hints and Pirate Attack Mode work?
Hints can support you when the water is rising, but their use is limited over time. Pirate Attack Mode lets you call pirates to make things more difficult for other players. Both options add tactical choices during play.
What Android version is required for Text or Die?
Text or Die requires Android 7.0 or higher as a minimum requirement. The file size is 200.9 MB. Check your device version and available storage before installing.
Nothing happens when I tap download
Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.
Android says "App not installed"
Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
