A tab with an advert may open when you tap download. Close it and come back here to carry on — those clicks are what keep PlayMods free.

Before you install

  1. When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
  2. An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.

Download FAQs

What does the Unlimited Money, God Mode build change in The Tower?

This build is labeled Unlimited Money, God Mode. The label is the modification information attached to this build. The game still centers on automated tower defense, upgrades, offline rewards, and resource management.

Do towers keep progressing when I am away from The Tower?

Yes. Towers continue fighting and earn bonus points while you are not playing. When you return, you can collect those rewards and continue working on your defense strategy.

Do I control every attack in The Tower?

No. Towers fight automatically without player involvement in the attack process. Your role is focused on building, upgrading, selecting tower types, and managing resources.

Why do tower types matter in The Tower?

Tower types have different capabilities, advantages, and disadvantages. You can mix towers and combat units to form a defense configuration for different situations. Upgrades improve tower strength, attack, and defense as enemies become stronger.

What Android version is required for The Tower?

The Tower requires Android 8.1 or later. The download size is 182.6 MB. Version 29.0.5 includes a fix for save/load issues that occurred for some accounts when loading the game.

Nothing happens when I tap download

Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.

Android says "App not installed"

Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
